Level | Chocolate Island 3 | Mario on a rotating platform | World-Level | 6-3 | Game | Super Mario World | Time limit | 300 seconds | <<List of levels>>** |
Chocolate Island 3 is a level in Super Mario World in the Chocolate Island world. It is a daytime sky level with lots of rotating platforms. Many enemies patrol the center of the moving platforms: first Koopa Troopas and then Fuzzies orbiting the center. Capes are the favored power up in the level. ? Blocks (after Mario has collected a Super Mushroom) emit Cape Feathers rather than Fire Flowers. A Green ! Block that appears once also contains a Cape Feather. Layout[edit]As mentioned before, there are many rotating platforms over a bottomless pit throughout the course in addition to some occasional solid ground. There is a Warp Pipe halfway through the level that takes Mario or Luigi into a room full of coins and one Dragon Coin. After the Pipe is the Midway Gate in midair with a ? Block immediately after it. Towards the first Goal Gate is a Bonus Block and arrow signs under the Giant Gate possibly hinting the player to go to the second Giant Gate. Exits[edit]There are two exits in the course, both in the same room and as Giant Gates. The main exit can be reached by a Beanstalk after hitting a Rotating Block. The other exit is across a wide bottomless pit that must be reached by using cape or a flying Yoshi. Three 1-Up Mushrooms appear in Rotating Blocks before the second exit. The first exit opens a circular path around the mountains (which leads Mario in a circle and is practically useless, but is still needed for a perfect score). The other exit leads to Chocolate Fortress. Chocolate Island 3 Enemies[edit]Names in other languages[edit]Language | Name | Meaning |

The entrance to the Valley of Bowser Click an area to open the relevant article. The Valley of Bowser is the final world of Super Mario World before reaching the final boss, Bowser. The main way into the Valley of Bowser is by beating the Sunken Ghost Ship and entering the massive rock carving of Bowser's head that rises out of the sea. A faster way to enter is using the Star Road, which has an exit leading straight to the Front Door of Bowser's Castle, making it possible to beat the game while skipping almost every world in the game. The player can also see this area by using the warp pipe found in Donut Plains to access Donut Secret 2 (the level upon the cliff on the left). Additionally, the player can enter the valley using the secret warp pipe on Chocolate Island, which leads to Chocolate Secret (the level at the bottom of the map). There are frequent flashes of lightning in the background despite this level being accessed via a subterranean cavern. Various enemies, though mostly Koopa Troopas and cave-dwelling enemies, can be encountered here. What is presumably the Valley of Bowser, renamed the Valley of the Koopas, appears in the Nintendo Adventure Books' Dinosaur Dilemma and Flown the Koopa. Depicted as a barren, putrid, desert-adjacent wasteland filled with garbage and hostile creatures such as Munchers and Dino-Torches, the area contains Bowser's summer home, where he holds a party celebrating his granting of the Snowbell Prize in Dinosaur Dilemma. Standard levels[edit]Note that levels are listed in the order the player can access them. Also, levels with an asterisk (*) feature more than one exit. - Valley of Bowser 2*
- Valley Ghost House*
- Valley of Bowser 4*
- #7 Larry's Castle (Boss: Larry Koopa)
- Front Door (Boss: Bowser)
Secret levels[edit]- Valley Fortress (Boss: Reznor)
- Back Door (Boss: Bowser)
Unused level[edit]The unused Red Switch Palace in Valley of Bowser. There is an unused Red Switch Palace to the left of Valley of Bowser 3. Since it leads to an 'empty' level, it is probable that it was scrapped early in development. Valley of Bowser 3 connects to its path, and unlike other levels with just one exit, Valley of Bowser 3 is set to move Mario to the left when its secret exit is activated instead of up. Presumably, this means that Valley of Bowser 3 was originally going to have a secret exit at one point before it, too, got scrapped. If a secret exit is hacked in, the game glitches, activating Valley of Bowser 4's normal exit[1] and trapping Mario in such a way that he would be locked in an endless Bonus Game. Trivia[edit]- The entrance to the Valley of Bowser appears in the premade world for the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack in Minecraft. A Nether Portal can be found inside of it, and going through it takes the player to Bowser's Castle.
- A rendition of the overworld music in the Valley of Bowser is used in Super Expert mode in Super Mario Maker 2.
References[edit]- ^Beating a level the normal way activates an 'event' in the game's code for that level. Secret exits activate the defined event plus one (i.e. if the level had Event #1 defined for it, a secret exit activates Event #2).
